In this Cookie Notice, “8Dflow,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to 8Dflow Pty Ltd.
“Services” means the 8Dflow software, applications, website, and related services we make available. Where the context refers to the product or service, references to “8Dflow” mean the Services.
3. Where this notice applies
This Cookie Notice applies to cookies and similar technologies used on:
- the 8Dflow public website;
- legal pages;
- landing pages;
- contact, demo, early-access, newsletter, or resource forms;
- the 8Dflow service, where applicable;
- related web pages controlled by 8Dflow.
This notice does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not control.
4. Consent and essential cookies
Some cookies and similar technologies are necessary for the website or service to work, provide security, maintain sessions, process forms, remember privacy choices, or provide functionality requested by you.
Other cookies and similar technologies, such as some analytics, performance, marketing, advertising, or tracking technologies, may be optional or may require consent depending on applicable law.
Where required by applicable law, we will not use non-essential cookies or similar technologies unless you have consented or your preferences otherwise permit that use.
If a cookie banner or preference tool is available, you can use it to manage optional cookie choices. Essential cookies may still be used because they are needed to operate, secure, or provide the website or service.
If no cookie preference tool is available in your region, you can manage cookies through your browser settings or contact us at legal@8dflow.com.
5. Types of cookies and similar technologies we may use
8Dflow may use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies.

Not every category is necessarily used at all times. The cookies and similar technologies we use may change as the website and service develop.
Where practicable, we may provide additional information about specific cookies, providers, purposes, and retention periods through a cookie banner, preference tool, or updated Cookie Notice.
6. Essential cookies
Essential cookies are used to operate the website or service.
They may be needed to:
- load pages;
- keep you signed in;
- maintain security;
- prevent fraud or abuse;
- remember privacy or cookie preferences;
- process form submissions;
- provide account and service functionality.
Because essential cookies are needed for the website or service to work, they cannot usually be switched off through cookie preference tools.
You may be able to block them using your browser settings, but some parts of the website or service may not work properly.
7. Analytics and performance cookies
Where enabled, analytics and performance cookies help us understand how people use the website and service.
They may help us understand:
- which pages are visited;
- how visitors move through the website;
- which features are used;
- whether pages or features are working properly;
- which errors occur;
- how performance can be improved;
- which content or campaigns are useful.
We use this information to improve 8Dflow, troubleshoot issues, and make the website and service more useful.
Analytics and performance information may be collected using cookies or similar technologies such as local storage, pixels, tags, scripts, or device/browser identifiers.
Where required by applicable law, analytics or performance cookies will be used only according to your consent or preferences.
Where enabled, we use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics on our public marketing website to help us understand website usage, page performance, referral sources, campaign performance, and interactions with marketing pages.
Both Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics are used only on the public marketing website. Neither is intended to run on authenticated 8Dflow product pages.
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information such as pages visited, device and browser information, approximate location, referral source, session information, and interactions with the website.
Vercel Analytics may collect analytics information through script-based or other similar technologies without necessarily using cookies.
8Dflow does not intentionally send Customer Data to Google Analytics or Vercel Analytics. Report content, NCR content, SCAR content, evidence, customer records, supplier records, uploaded files, file names, comments, approvals, and workflow records are not intentionally sent to either service.
Where consent is legally required for non-essential analytics, use of Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics remains subject to the visitor’s consent or preferences.
8. Marketing cookies
Where enabled, marketing cookies and similar technologies may help us understand campaign performance, referral sources, and how visitors interact with 8Dflow marketing pages.
Marketing cookies may be placed by 8Dflow or by third-party marketing, advertising, or analytics providers where used.
We do not use Customer Data for third-party advertising.
We do not use marketing cookies to target advertising based on the contents of Customer Data entered into 8Dflow.
Where required by applicable law, marketing cookies will be used only according to your consent or preferences.
9. Product and account cookies
If you use the 8Dflow service, cookies or similar technologies may be used to support account and product functionality.
These may help with:
- login and authentication;
- session management;
- account security;
- workspace access;
- user preferences;
- product performance;
- error monitoring;
- fraud and misuse prevention;
- service reliability;
- checkout and billing flows;
- subscription management;
- payment status and fraud prevention;
- account administration.
These technologies are generally used to provide, secure, and maintain the service.
10. Third-party cookies and similar technologies
Some cookies or similar technologies may be provided by third parties that help us operate, secure, support, analyse, communicate about, or improve 8Dflow.
These currently include:
- Vercel for website hosting, application delivery, and Vercel Analytics;
- Supabase for authentication and product session or account functionality;
- Google Analytics for public marketing-site analytics, where enabled;
- Stripe for checkout and billing technologies when paid subscriptions are offered.
Third-party providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy practices where they act independently, or according to 8Dflow’s instructions where they act as service providers or subprocessors.
Material subprocessors for Customer Personal Data are described in our Data Processing, Security & Subprocessors page where available.
12. Managing cookies
You may be able to manage cookies in several ways.
Browser settings
Most browsers allow you to block, delete, or manage cookies.
Your browser settings may let you:
- delete existing cookies;
- block future cookies;
- block third-party cookies;
- receive alerts before cookies are placed;
- clear site data.
If you block or delete cookies, some parts of the website or service may not work properly.
Device and platform settings
Some devices, browsers, operating systems, or platforms may provide additional privacy, advertising, tracking, or app-level controls.
Those settings are controlled by the relevant provider and may affect how cookies or similar technologies work.
Cookie preferences
If 8Dflow provides a cookie banner or cookie preference tool, you can use it to manage optional cookie choices where available.
Where consent is required and a cookie preference tool is available, you may change or withdraw consent through that tool.
Essential cookies may still be used because they are needed to operate, secure, or provide the website or service.
If no cookie preference tool is available in your region, you can manage cookies through your browser settings or contact us at legal@8dflow.com.
Email marketing
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting legal@8dflow.com.
Even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we may still send service, account, billing, security, and administrative messages.
13. Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, and browser signals
Some browsers or tools offer “Do Not Track,” Global Privacy Control, or similar privacy signals.
There is not always a common industry standard for how all websites should respond to every signal.
Where required by applicable law, we will honour recognised consent, preference, or opt-out mechanisms that apply to our use of cookies and similar technologies.
14. Customer Data and advertising
8Dflow does not sell Customer Data.
8Dflow does not use Customer Data for third-party advertising.
8Dflow does not use marketing or analytics cookies to target advertising based on the contents of Customer Data entered into 8Dflow.
8Dflow does not intentionally send Customer Data to Google Analytics or Vercel Analytics.
If our use of cookies or similar technologies materially changes in a way that affects Customer Data, we will update this Cookie Notice and related legal pages where appropriate.
15. Changes to this Cookie Notice
We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users where appropriate, such as by posting an updated version on our website.
If a change materially affects how we use non-essential cookies, tracking technologies, or cookies involving personal information, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users where appropriate.
The updated Cookie Notice will apply from the effective date stated on the updated page.
