These Website, Resource & Template Terms apply to 8Dflow's public website, landing pages, blog posts, guides, examples, checklists, downloads, templates, calculators, prompts, resource forms, and other non-subscription materials.
In these terms, “8Dflow,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to 8Dflow Pty Ltd. “Resources” means the public website content, landing pages, blog posts, guides, examples, checklists, downloads, templates, calculators, prompts, resource forms, and other non-subscription materials made available by 8Dflow.
These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Privacy Collection Notice, Cookie Notice, and Terms of Service where applicable.
These terms are separate from our Terms of Service, which apply to use of the 8Dflow software. If you use 8Dflow as a customer or user, the Terms of Service also apply.

These resources are provided for general information, education, and workflow starting points only.
2. What these resources are not

- supplier-management advice;
- quality-system consulting;
- certification advice;
- audit advice;
- compliance advice;
- a full quality management system;
- regulated CAPA software;

- root-cause determination;
- corrective-action approval;
- verification of effectiveness;
- customer, supplier, auditor, regulator, or certification-body acceptance;
- a guarantee that any template, report, prompt, calculator, or resource is suitable for your organisation.
You are responsible for deciding whether a resource is suitable for your organisation.
3. Templates and examples
8Dflow may provide templates, examples, sample reports, sample fields, checklists, prompts, workflows, or other practical resources.
Templates and examples are general starting points only. A template that is useful for one manufacturer may be unsuitable for another.
You are responsible for reviewing, editing, approving, and adapting each template or example to match your:
- products;
- processes;
- customers;
- suppliers;
- contracts;
- standards;
- internal procedures;
- risk controls;
- legal obligations;
- industry requirements.
Do not use a template without checking whether it fits your actual situation.
You may adapt 8Dflow templates and examples for your own internal business use and for legitimate communications with your customers, suppliers, employees, contractors, auditors, and other relevant third parties, subject to these terms.
You are responsible for the content you add to any template, example, report, checklist, workflow, or document.
4. Completed resources and your content
As between you and 8Dflow, you retain ownership of your own content, data, records, edits, notes, reports, and other materials that you independently create or add to an 8Dflow resource.
Subject to these terms, you may use completed or adapted templates, reports, checklists, workflows, and documents that include your own content for your legitimate internal business purposes and for communications with customers, suppliers, employees, contractors, auditors, and other relevant third parties.
8Dflow retains ownership of the original website content, templates, examples, checklists, prompts, workflows, formats, layouts, calculators, guides, downloads, documentation, designs, branding, and other 8Dflow materials.
Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of 8Dflow intellectual property to you, and nothing in these terms gives 8Dflow ownership of your own content or pre-existing materials.
5. No compliance guarantee
8Dflow does not guarantee that any website content, guide, checklist, template, example, download, prompt, workflow, or other resource will satisfy any:
- law or regulation;
- customer requirement;
- supplier requirement;
- audit requirement;
- certification requirement;
- industry standard;
- quality standard;
- internal procedure;
- contractual obligation;
- customer acceptance;
- supplier acceptance;
- auditor acceptance;
- regulator acceptance;
- product release requirement;
- risk-control requirement.
You are responsible for validating your own processes, documents, workflows, reports, and decisions.
6. Manufacturing quality decisions remain yours
8Dflow resources may help you structure or document information, but they do not make quality decisions for you.
You remain responsible for all decisions and actions relating to:
- root cause;
- containment;
- corrective actions;
- preventive actions;
- verification of effectiveness;
- product release;
- product safety;
- supplier communication;
- customer communication;
- evidence selection;
- approvals;
- deadlines;
- reporting;
- inspection decisions;
- supplier decisions;
- recall or field-action decisions, where relevant;
- customer submission decisions;
- compliance with your contracts, standards, procedures, and laws.
You should involve qualified people where appropriate for your organisation and products.
7. AI-related resources
8Dflow may publish AI-related examples, prompts, workflows, or explanations.
These are provided for general information only.
AI-related resources must not be used as a substitute for human review, professional judgement, quality decisions, engineering decisions, regulatory decisions, legal advice, product-safety review, root-cause analysis, corrective-action approval, verification of effectiveness, or compliance decisions.
If you use AI-assisted text, prompts, examples, or workflows, you are responsible for reviewing, verifying, editing, and approving the final output before relying on it or sharing it.
8Dflow does not say that AI determines root cause, makes quality decisions, approves corrective actions, verifies effectiveness, determines product release, or certifies compliance.
If you use a public prompt, example, or workflow with a third-party AI tool that is not part of the 8Dflow service, that third-party tool is controlled by its own provider and may be subject to separate terms and privacy practices.
Do not enter confidential information, personal information, Customer Data, trade secrets, sensitive information, export-controlled technical data, passwords, API keys, private keys, access tokens, seed phrases, production credentials, or other secrets into third-party AI tools unless you are authorised to do so and the tool is appropriate for that information.
This is a short contextual warning for third-party AI tools. The Prohibited Data section of our Acceptable Use Policy contains the primary list of data that must not be submitted to or stored in 8Dflow unless we expressly agree in writing.
8. Calculators, estimates, and examples
8Dflow may provide calculators, worked examples, estimates, sample wording, or illustrative workflows.
These materials are for general information only.
They may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your organisation, products, customers, suppliers, contracts, standards, legal obligations, or internal procedures.
You are responsible for checking any calculator result, estimate, example, or sample wording before relying on it or sharing it.
9. Permitted use
You may use 8Dflow website content and resources for your own internal business purposes, including to:
- learn about practical manufacturing quality workflows;
- evaluate whether 8Dflow may be useful for your organisation;
- adapt templates for your organisation’s internal use;
- share links to public 8Dflow resources;
- use downloaded resources in your own internal quality workflow documentation.
This permission is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and subject to these terms. We may revoke or limit this permission if you breach these terms, misuse resources, infringe rights, create legal, security, operational, or reputational risk, or if we remove or discontinue a resource.
10. Prohibited use
You must not:
- resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute 8Dflow resources;
- copy substantial parts of the website to create a competing product, service, resource library, or template library;
- remove 8Dflow branding or notices from resources where they are intended to remain;
- present 8Dflow templates or examples as certified, approved, guaranteed-compliance, or audit-ready documents;
- use resources in a misleading way;
- use resources to create false, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, or materially incomplete quality records;
- imply that 8Dflow has reviewed, approved, certified, or endorsed your reports, processes, products, suppliers, customers, or quality decisions;
- use 8Dflow resources in a way that infringes intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights;
- extract, copy, scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk download 8Dflow resources except as expressly permitted;
- use 8Dflow resources to create, train, fine-tune, benchmark, or improve a competing AI model, software product, template library, resource library, database, or commercial service;
- present an adapted or completed resource as reviewed, approved, verified, certified, endorsed, or accepted by 8Dflow;
- use 8Dflow resources to misrepresent root cause, containment, corrective action, verification, approval, customer acceptance, supplier acceptance, auditor acceptance, compliance, product release, or evidence quality;
- upload or submit 8Dflow resources to third-party tools or services in a way that violates confidentiality, privacy, data protection, intellectual property, export-control, supplier, customer, or employment obligations.
11. Intellectual property
8Dflow owns or licenses the website content, templates, examples, guides, downloads, calculators, prompts, workflows, formats, layouts, designs, text, graphics, branding, logos, documentation, and other materials we make available.
Except for the limited permission in these terms, we do not transfer ownership of any 8Dflow intellectual property to you.
You retain ownership of your own content, data, records, edits, notes, reports, and pre-existing materials that you independently create or add to a resource.
You must not remove proprietary notices, copyright notices, branding, attribution, or usage notes from 8Dflow resources where they are intended to remain.
You must not use 8Dflow resources, templates, examples, workflows, formats, layouts, prompts, calculators, or documentation to create a competing product, service, template library, resource library, database, AI model, or software tool.
12. Links to third-party resources
Our website may link to third-party websites, tools, standards, articles, services, or resources.
Third-party resources are controlled by their own providers. They may be subject to separate terms, privacy policies, fees, availability, and accuracy limitations.
We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, resources, or content that we do not control.
A link to a third-party resource does not mean 8Dflow endorses, approves, verifies, or accepts responsibility for that third-party resource.
13. Accuracy and availability
We try to keep 8Dflow website content and resources useful and accurate, but manufacturing quality practices, customer expectations, standards, laws, and technologies may change.
Resources may be incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your use case.
We may update, remove, replace, or change website content and resources from time to time. Where a resource is important to your business, you should keep your own copy and review it before use.
14. No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 8Dflow website content and resources are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not warrant that any resource will be accurate, complete, current, error-free, available, suitable for your use case, accepted by a customer or supplier, or compliant with any requirement.
We do not warrant that any resource will identify the correct root cause, corrective action, containment action, verification method, product-release decision, customer response, supplier response, or risk control.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights, guarantees, warranties, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 8Dflow is not liable for loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, website content, guides, templates, examples, checklists, downloads, prompts, calculators, workflows, or other resources.
This includes loss arising from:
- inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable resources;
- failure to adapt a template to your organisation;
- customer or supplier rejection of a report, template, or document;
- quality, engineering, product-safety, root-cause, corrective-action, verification, approval, release, recall, field-action, supplier, customer, or compliance decisions;
- audit findings, certification issues, customer disputes, supplier disputes, defects, recalls, missed deadlines, or compliance failures;
- use of third-party websites, services, AI tools, standards, documents, or resources.
For free website resources and non-subscription materials, 8Dflow’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to USD $100. This limit does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights, guarantees, warranties, remedies, liabilities, or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
